Abstract

This paper is review of risk assessment, collision avoidance and path planning methods for ships in close range encounters. Practical using of methods is discussed. Methods are taking into account some factors, such as COLREGS, multiships, restricted waters, dynamic ship motion, course and velocity changes. This review based both on Russian- and English- language scientific papers.
